Robert Valadez, Owner/ OP.
I started detailing in 2014 and professionally started my business in 2016 with Robert’s Auto detailing. I began my business as a mobile only service. Mobile detailing is where we’d come to your home or business and completed the service. Being mobile came with many limitations, such as weather conditions, lack of a covered and protected area, and I always felt it was not as professional as a physical location. In 2018 I was going through a really low point in my life and my business was on the back burner and was thinking about giving up detailing for good, but I was casually looking for small shops in my area and just couldn’t find anything resonantly priced. My family kept telling me that when the right time comes “it will happen”, in regard to finding the perfect shop. It seems like out of nowhere I met Josh and instantly became friends and business partners. Since starting my business in 2016 I was always part-time detailer and had a full-time job. Back in March of 2020 I was furloughed at my full-time job because of COVID-19. It was a weird time for me because it gave me an opportunity to work on my business full time, and work on the merger that Josh and myself has been talking about for a while.
Reagan Dove, Lead Detail Technician
My name is Reagan Dove, I've been working at Portage Paint Correction for 8 months and it has been a very enjoyable and informative experience. Some things I enjoy doing outside of work are going to the gym, and working on my own car. One of my favorite things we’ve done so far at Portage Paint Correction is the holiday outreach program where we sponsor a child in need and buy them gifts for christmas. My favorite day I've worked would either be my first ever day because of how much I was able to accomplish and how well it went, or the first day we had all three employees here because it marked a big turning point for the business. One future goal I have is to have 4 consistent fleets that continuously come back to us for work. I am excited for what the future holds for me working here, and can't wait to accomplish more!
Chris Cifani, Detail Technician II
Hi my name is Chris Cifani. I’m a junior in high school and I have been working at Portage Paint Correction since the middle of last summer. It has been an awesome experience, and I love working with my coworkers. My favorite thing to do at Portage Paint Correction is to see the before and after of a car that we have detailed. A fun fact about me is that I did not even know what car detailing was before I got to Portage Paint Correction, now I’m proficient at it. One goal I have is to be able to completely be able to detail a car by myself. I love working here and can’t wait for what the future holds.

Hey my name is Keegan Broyles. I’m a junior in high school and I’ve been working at Portage Paint Correction for a few months now. I’ve had a great time working and learning new things at Portage Paint Correction. I really enjoy the connections and bond me and my coworkers share. My favorite thing about working at Portage Paint Correction is seeing the look on the customer’s face after a job is done. One of my goals is to be more independent and able to complete tasks and jobs by myself. Portage Paint Correction is a great place to work and I’m excited for the future.
